New San Francisco Office Location

On May 1, 2010, Sierra Group will have relocated their San Francisco office to 2378 Cabot Blvd. Suite 317 Hayward, CA 94545. This new location provides Sierra Group with a more centralized position for servicing our clients in the Bay Area as well as other Northern California location clients.
Pacific National Bank, Moraga California

Sierra Group is staged to begin construction in October 2009 on a major exterior renovation and complete branch remodel of Pacific National Bank's Moraga branch, which is an existing stand alone building constructed in the 1970's. This will be a complex project as it is to remain a fully functional bank branch that requires no disruption of branch operations or inconveniences to the bank's customers during the construction tenant improvement process. Every element of the branch will be remodeled including teller line replacement. Conducting major remodel's while allowing our client's business to remain fully operational is one of Sierra Group's specialties. Success of such projects requires expert master planning of all phases of work, night and weekend shifts to avoid disruption of operations, and excellent nightly cleanliness protocols which provide comfort and safety of both our client's employees and clientele. This will be the seventh bank branch Sierra Group has completed for Pacific National Bank to date.
Luther Burbank Savings and Loan, Beverly Hills, California

In July 2009, Sierra Group completed a new bank branch for Luther Burbank Savings and Loan in downtown Pasadena and will begin construction on their next branch in Beverly Hills in October 2009. The Beverly Hills project will include a complete renovation and modernization of the existing building exterior. The 3500 sq. ft. interior of the branch will be a modern contemporary bank branch design with high end finishes and is scheduled for completion by year’s end. This will be the second branch Sierra Group has completed for Luther Burbank Savings and Loan this year.
Life Technologies, Carlsbad California

Sierra Group is currently in the second year of a three year master planned phased renovation of the Life Technologies world headquarters campus, in Carlsbad California. Life Technologies (NASDAQ: LIFE) is a global biotechnology tools company servicing the biomedical industry. This year, the work includes the creation of over 20,000 sq. ft. of new structural mezzanine corporate office space, and over 175,000 sq. ft. of renovations throughout the 350,000 sq. ft. operational campus buildings. In 2010, Sierra Group is scheduled to construct a ground up 80,000 sq. ft. amenities building, which will include a conference center, employee gymnasium, cafeteria, classrooms, and an outdoor amphitheater.
Sierra Group Hires Gordon Gilmore as Project Manager in Northern California

Sierra Group is pleased to announce that our new Northern California Project Manager is Gordon “Gordy” Gilmore. He will be based out of our Walnut Creek Office and managing various projects in Northern California. Gordy has worked in the construction industry for more than 35 years which includes spending the last 25 years in the construction management role with various companies. His last 12 years were spent as the Director of Construction for Chipotle Mexican Grill, Jamba Juice and Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets.
